Lead team of direct reports to develop global quality improvement strategies across assigned operation center to ensure high quality products & uninterrupted supply.
Drive supplier Zero Defect Plans and Supplier Cause Customer Escape (SCCE) reductions with target suppliers.
Sr leadership & customer communications related to supplier quality initiatives and issues.
Drive improvements utilizing Lean methodologies, supplier scorecards and supplier assessments to create world class supply base.
Ensure supplier compliance to global QA /FAA standards while driving systematic problem solving and process improvement plans to deliver high performance.
Provide technical expertise and leadership to sourcing and development of suppliers with respect to capabilities, performance, quality, cost, and delivery.
Data analytics and trend analysis related to Quality and Delivery to focus resources in right areas and maximize impact of strategic programs.
Develop and institute training, development and recognition programs to build strong technical capability and growth for each team member.

Requirements

5 or more years combined of Supply Chain, Program management, People Development or Engineering experience
Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Project management, Quality or Business
People leading experience
Experience with project management. PMP Certification a plus
Data analytics knowledge and experience a plus
Able to read technical drawings and documentation (GD&T)
Lean or Black Belt Certification
Willingness to travel
Strong communication skills both verbal and written. Including Sr leadership reporting

Proven problem-solving skills, including ability to interpret business performance and financial data, define actions, and implement solutions.
Excellent team building skills, creating constructive and open environments for sharing ideas.
