About the role
- Manage and grow Honeywell UOP’s bookings and revenue generation within assigned accounts
- Relentless focus on conducting business with the highest degree of integrity and compliance.
- Create and execute strategic account plans that align with client objectives and company goals
- Develop, strengthen and manage relationships with existing Honeywell UOP’s clients in Northern Europe
- Drive opportunities throughout the entire sales cycle: Identify potential opportunities, clarify bidding requirements, formulate a comprehensive sales strategy, engage and align technical sales resources, submit proposals, successfully negotiate and close deals, collaborate with order management for handover to manufacturing/execution teams
- Ensure Honeywell UOP’s clients in the region will have the best possible experience throughout the sales process
- Develop forecasts and revenue projections for catalysts and adsorbents pertaining to assigned accounts on a rolling 18 month basis
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in either Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Civil Engineering
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and team members
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities to develop and implement effective account plans
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to influence others
- Proficiency in time management and the capacity to effectively manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Flexibility and adaptability to navigate in a highly matrixed environment
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English
- Sales/commercial or Technical experience in the refining & petrochemical business environment
- Technical knowledge in the refining industry
- Understanding of the cultural background and business atmosphere in Northern Europe
- Ability to travel up to 25% of your time
- The role will be home office based in Northern Europe
- Specialization/master’s in the refining/petrochemical businesses
- Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Technical knowledge in the petrochemical industry
- Proficiency in German (spoken and written)
