About the role
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot building automation systems
- Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal system performance
- Respond to service calls and resolve technical issues in a timely manner
- Collaborate with customers and internal teams to identify and implement system improvements
- Provide training and support to building operators and end-users
- Stay updated with industry trends and advancements, and provide recommendations for improvement
- Must be available for on-call rotation
- Company vehicle will be provided to travel to company sites
- Travel: up to 10%
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in building automation or related field
- Strong technical knowledge and expertise in building automation systems and HVAC controls
- Familiarity with industry standards and protocols (e.g., BACnet, Modbus, Niagara, LonWorks)
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
- Strong customer focus and ability to build and maintain relationships
- Associate's degree or certification in a relevant field (we value)
