About the role
- Lead the development and implementation of software strategies that align with business goals.
- Manage and mentor a team of software engineers, fostering their growth and innovation.
- Oversee software development processes, ensuring quality, security, and scalability of applications.
- Lead the digital transformation of the sales-to-revenue lifecycle and ensure all software-led building solutions are supported by a secure, high-performing, and scalable enterprise infrastructure.
- Lead and drive the IT eco system that is needed for Software development and deployment
- Strategic Vision & Roadmap: Develop and execute a comprehensive IT roadmap for connected software, aligning it with business goals and customer needs.
- Proactively address the Software revenue capability requirements to drive recurring revenue and subscription models.
- ERP & Billing Integration: Bridge the gap between CRM (sales) and ERP (finance) to automate recurring billing for SaaS-based building services, ensuring accurate revenue recognition.
Requirements
- 10 + years in software development, with at least 5+ years in a senior leadership or management role.
- Expertise in Emerging Tech: Proficiency in AI, cloud transformation (AWS/Azure), and IoT/connected products.
- Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and system integration.
- Partner for CPQ Implementation: Oversee Configure, Price, Quote (CPQ) systems tailored for building tech (e.g., Salesforce CPQ). You must ensure the system can handle complex "hardware + software subscription" bundles common in building solutions.
- Partner with Connected teams to help with assessing Software architectural reviews, Cyber risks, network and infrastructure for a successful deployment of Software at scale
- Experience in Enterprise Asset management (EAM) and Cloud (Azure & AWS) and Security implementations
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering high-quality software solutions.
- Experience in agile methodologies and project management.
- Ability to drive innovation and change within the organization.
