About the role

  • Responsible for managing a defined customer and opportunity portfolio in close coordination with Account Managers
  • Actively drive sales opportunities from qualification through order entry (quotes, follow-up, documentation)
  • Proactively identify, qualify and develop new leads and business opportunities
  • Act as the primary commercial point of contact for customers, providing prompt, professional and reliable responses
  • Achieve defined commercial targets in a partially quota-bearing role
  • Ensure pipeline transparency and data quality for forecasting in the CRM (e.g., Salesforce)
  • Proactively follow up on open tasks and coordinate internally to maintain commercial momentum
  • Collaborate with sales, operations and support teams to efficiently advance business opportunities

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in inside sales, sales support or a comparable commercial role
  • Proven track record contributing to revenue targets in a performance-driven sales environment
  • Good understanding of structured sales processes and CRM-based opportunity management
  • Ability to work independently, set priorities effectively and follow up on tasks without reminders
  • Clear communication style and confident manner when interacting with customers and internal stakeholders
  • Fluent in English and German (written and spoken) to ensure confident communication
