About the role

  • install and maintain new and old material handling and sortation equipment
  • respond to emergency service calls
  • provide general customer support for all Intelligrated and Legacy made equipment
  • gather data utilizing specific reports and Intelligrated procedures
  • supply various forms and custom reports to the customer to assist in sales of parts and service contracts
  • assist with the field training of new employees
  • receive in-house assignments covering technical support, training, or documentation
  • travel throughout and reside in any of the specified states

Requirements

  • High school diploma (or equivalent) and 5 years of experience.
  • Associate’s Degree in Engineering and 2 years of field experience.
  • Strong mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical aptitude.
  • Experience with conveyor systems and high voltage electrical motors (VFDs, Servo, etc).
  • Valid Driver's license.
  • Reliable transportation to a major airport (Must be within a One Hour commute of nearest airport).
  • PLC Programming skills.
  • Diagnostic proficiency with one of the types of PLC (Modicon, PLC5, PLC500).
  • Working experience of electrical wiring and reading of schematics.
  • Prior Customer Service Experience
  • Proficiency with MS Office products and Operating Systems (i.e. Windows XP).
  • Ability to work independently (self-starter) and with teams.
