About the role

  • Support substantiation testing requirements, data analysis, test procedure and report writing
  • Support test objectives and procedures, overseeing the preparation of test units
  • Prepares and presents Engineering Part Analysis (EPA), Transition Design Reviews (TDR), Risk Assessments and Supplier Qualifications
  • Ensure the appropriate level of reviews are conducted while identifying & implementing opportunities for standardization, cycle time reduction and cost reduction across multiple sites
  • Coordinate engineering resources (Design, Structures, Chief, etc.) to complete design changes and part substantiation
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with suppliers to drive technical and schedule adherence
  • Drive on-time execution of Supplier Readiness objectives by working with value stream leader and program managers to achieve dual sourcing objectives

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics
  • 8 years of experience in Project Engineering or equivalent
  • Experience working closely with Integrated Supply Chain and Honeywell suppliers on development parts, transition execution and production producibility issues
  • Ability to consistently make timely decisions and balancing systematic analysis with decisiveness, even in the face of complexity
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering
