About the role
- Develop and maintain strong relationships while developing joint sales strategies
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting and lead generation
- Develop sales strategies aligned with channel partner growth commitments
- Execute sales strategies and tactics to achieve sales targets
- Conduct seminars, demonstrations, technical training and tradeshows
- Maximize profitability by negotiating and closing sales deals
- Maintain CRM activity, forecasts, reports, pipeline management
- Monitor industry and competitor trends
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in account management or sales
- Bilingual French & English. Proficient written and spoken skills
- Travel ability at a minimum of 50%
- Valid Class 5 driver’s licence
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, Marketing, or related field.
- Canadian Fire Alarm Association Technical certification
- Strong understanding of Fire Building Codes, CAN ULC, NFPA Code requirements
- Ability to read electrical drawings and construction documents
- Strong business acumen and understanding of Fire Alarm market
- Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
