Job Level
About the role
- Own pipeline health analytics – build and maintain reporting on deal velocity, stage conversion, win/loss rates, and forecast accuracy to give sales leadership a reliable view of the business at any time.
- Partner with RevOps and Sales leadership to evaluate ROI by motion and channel – identifying which go-to-market plays are driving revenue and which aren't pulling their weight.
- Develop end-to-end attribution and lead source analysis – connecting marketing inputs to pipeline outputs and closed revenue to inform spend and targeting decisions.
- Build and maintain a clear, consistent sales metric framework – ensuring pipeline, activity, and performance KPIs are reliably defined and trusted across Sales and GTM.
- Proactively surface risks and opportunities – identify pipeline gaps, rep performance trends, and deal quality signals before they become surprises for leadership.
- Build scalable self-serve tools (dashboards, notebook) that empower reps, managers, and executives to track performance without relying on ad hoc requests.
- Translate complex analyses into concise, executive-ready insights that drive decisions on headcount, comp, territory design, and GTM investment.
- Champion AI-assisted analytics workflows – automate recurring reporting, accelerate analysis, and help the broader sales and ops team leverage data more effectively.
- Collaborate closely with data engineering and RevOps to ensure CRM data integrity, event tracking accuracy, and instrumentation completeness for new sales motions.
Requirements
- 4–6 years of experience in analytics, with measurable business impact; at least 2 years operating at a senior or lead level.
- Advanced SQL skills and experience with modern analytics and CRM stacks (Salesforce, dbt, Databricks/Snowflake, Looker, Tableau, or similar).
- Deep experience with pipeline analytics – deal velocity, stage conversion, rep productivity, quota attainment, and forecast modeling.
- AI-assisted proficiency in Python for modeling and analysis workflows; comfort using AI tools to extend analytical capability.
- Demonstrated ability to model business impact – quantify opportunity size, evaluate ROI by channel or motion, and help prioritize GTM investments.
- Experience building scalable, self-serve analytics tools – dashboards, reusable models, and metric layers that reduce one-off requests.
- Exceptional communication and storytelling – able to translate complex pipeline and revenue data into clear, executive-ready narratives that drive decisions.
- Experience working cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, RevOps, and Finance in a high-growth SaaS or subscription environment.
- Demonstrated AI fluency – leveraging AI tools to accelerate workflows, automate recurring analysis, and enable teams to move faster.
- Self-starter mindset, ownership mentality, and the ability to balance analytical rigor with the speed a growth business demands.
