About the role
- Enforce and help develop robust compliance & risk management policies & protocols tailored to different product offerings.
- Collaborate closely with product teams to weave compliance and risk mitigation strategies into product design and operations.
- Conduct thorough investigations, documenting findings and implementing preventive solutions.
- Craft and continuously update comprehensive risk management documentation, ensuring they meet regulatory and company standards.
- Design and oversee the maintenance of dashboards for real-time risk monitoring and reporting to key stakeholders.
- Develop governance frameworks and define clear escalation paths for compliance & risk-related issues.
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to plug compliance & risk exposures and enhance operational resilience.
- Analyze and optimize the intersection of operational processes and compliance & risk controls to eliminate inefficiencies.
- Maintain a pulse on fintech industry trends to keep our compliance and risk prevention protocols cutting-edge.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in compliance, risk management, operations, or a closely related field within fintech or a regulatory-heavy environment, with at least 1 year being in a compliance-intensive role
- Advanced understanding of compliance systems and frameworks in the financial services sector.
- Demonstrated ability in self-starting projects and leading operational improvements with a keen eye for detail and high standards for process precision.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills, capable of prioritizing effectively amongst competing needs.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis and pattern identification.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities with a continuous improvement mindset.
- Previous experience leveraging AI in compliance management or fraud detection/mitigation
