About the role

  • Own the store relationship + resolve issues end-to-end (regional “face of accounting”)
  • Serve as the single point of contact for dealership leadership within the region
  • Provide high-touch support and rapid issue clearing during close and in day-to-day operational cadence
  • Ensure operational accounting excellence exists across all stores and teams in the region
  • Own the close outcome for the region (material accuracy, predictable rhythm, and disciplined review/escalation)
  • Review and analyze consolidated dealership financial results for patterns, inconsistencies, and unusual balances
  • Ensure effective transactional accounting and strong financial control across the region
  • Communicate financial insights and recommended actions to improve results
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate regional Dealership Accounting leaders and teams to achieve high performance
  • Collaborate closely with Centralized Accounting and Corporate Accounting to ensure clean handoffs

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (accounting, finance, business) required, Master’s preferred
  • 10+ years of relevant experience, including 5+ years in leadership roles
  • Experience managing accounting teams and overseeing complex financial operations
  • Strong understanding of dealership operations and dealership accounting practices
  • Proficient in various desktop tools including MS Office Programs (i.e. Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, SharePoint etc.)
