About the role

  • Overall responsibility for the performance of work under the Task Order.
  • Serves as the primary authority to act on behalf of the Contractor regarding daily operations.
  • Acts as the first point of contact for the Government and various client divisions to resolve issues or discrepancies before they escalate.
  • Responsible for project planning, budgeting, and performance, including monitoring milestones and adhering to plans and schedules.
  • Maintains close coordination with agency Contracting Officers (CO) and Contracting Officer Representatives (COR).
  • Directs and interfaces with contract staff to ensure requirements are fulfilled; identifies resources needed, coordinates work activities, and assigns individual responsibilities.
  • Ensures strict compliance with quality requirements; reviews all contract deliverables before forwarding to the client.
  • Manages the project budget, determines appropriate revenue recognition, ensures timely and accurate invoicing, and monitors receivables and profitability.
  • Participates in requests for RFQ or RFP from onset, including preparing proposal schedules and ensuring successful submission.
  • Oversees transition management (phase-in/phase-out), manages employer obligations (e.g., time cards, staff morale), ensures project documentation is accurate and stored per standards.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Management, business, administration, engineering, or a related field is required.
  • At least five (5) years’ experience managing people and programs in public sector performance management.
  • Three (3) years of experience in U.S. Government-supported grants/contracts management preferred.
  • PMP certification preferred.
  • Enhanced skills in managing professional support services staff; ability to communicate complex solutions effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Possesses a general understanding of the technical areas of project assignment and proficiency in Internet, Intranet, and Project software programs.
  • Familiarity with federal government, DOI, and Indian Affairs trust relationship requirements.
  • Preferred understanding of Native American corporation contracting capabilities with the Federal Government as both a prime and subcontractor.
