About the role
- Support the Human Resources team with a focus on talent acquisition, onboarding, and compliance
- Source candidates through job boards, social media, and other recruitment platforms
- Conduct initial screenings and assessments of potential candidates
- Coordinate interviews and maintain candidate communications
- Prepare and manage new hire paperwork and documentation
- Ensure onboarding compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards
- Contribute to talent acquisition and onboarding process improvement projects
- Assist with the implementation of recruitment events and HR initiatives
- Provide general administrative assistance to the HR team
- Maintain accurate HR records and documentation in databases.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Human Resources , Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum GPA of 2.5
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to a dynamic environment
- High level of discretion and ability to handle confidential information appropriately
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Familiarity with HR software and applicant tracking systems (preferred)
- Basic understanding of employment laws and HR compliance best practices (preferred)
Benefits
- Intern employees are categorized as seasonal full-time employees and will accrue one hour of paid sick time for every 30 hours worked. Accrual begins after 80 hours of consecutive employment in Nebraska.
