About the role
- Own and manage a portfolio of 70-100 customer accounts
- Identify and successfully close renewals and expansion opportunities
- Develop and execute strategic account plans
- Build and maintain executive-level relationships
- Monitor account performance to identify risks and opportunities
- Reduce churn by understanding root causes of attrition
- Lead account reviews and Executive Business Reviews (EBRs)
- Negotiate renewals and commercial terms
- Leverage AI agents to prioritize actions
- Partner cross-functionally to deliver a seamless customer experience
- Develop a deep understanding of the Hivebrite platform
- Host Office Hours sessions to enable frequent customer touchpoints
- Forecast renewals and expansions in Salesforce
- Act as the voice of the customer and communicate product feedback
- Collaborate with the Onboarding team to ensure customers achieve initial value
- Assist the Support team with escalating key customer concerns
- Domestic and international travel as needed
Requirements
- 5-10+ years relevant work experience as Account Manager, Customer Success Manager, or Relationship Manager in B2B SaaS
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets
- Strong commercial acumen and demonstrated ability to identify, qualify, and close opportunities
- Proven ability to use AI to maximize individual impact and reduce manual activities
- Outstanding ability to articulate software product value
- Demonstrated success working cross-functionally to deliver customer outcomes
- Experience negotiating contract renewals and commercial terms
- Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and perform effectively under pressure
- Understanding of technical concepts (API, SSO)
- Excellent presentation, written, and verbal communication skills
- Outstanding critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Active listener with ability to uncover customer needs
