About the role

  • Design data models at the conceptual, logical and physical levels;
  • Monitor and guide teams during data modeling;
  • Evaluate and validate data models produced by development teams;
  • Participate in the definition and evolution of data architecture, including Data Lake and medallion architecture;
  • Propose improvements to the enterprise data architecture based on impact analyses;
  • Keep repositories of data models and metadata up to date;
  • Disseminate concepts and standardizations of data entities across teams;
  • Support the use of corporate information and shared data;
  • Prepare and support the development of a corporate data vocabulary and glossary;
  • Support governance, data quality, and master and reference data management initiatives;
  • Produce technical reports and assessments on the use and organization of metadata;
  • Develop and review data pipelines and transformations using best practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field;
  • Postgraduate degree in IT OR certification in the area of expertise or in agile methodologies;
  • Extensive proven experience in the data field or a related technical specialty;
  • Experience with data modeling (conceptual, logical and physical);
  • Experience with data architecture (Data Lake / medallion architecture);
  • Experience with Python;
  • Experience with SQL;
  • Experience with BigQuery;
  • Experience with DBT;
  • Experience with version control and code review;
  • Experience with governance and metadata management.
