About the role
- Designs data models (conceptual, logical and physical);
- Monitors and guides teams during data modeling;
- Reviews and evaluates data models produced by development teams;
- Supports the discovery and use of shared and corporate information;
- Disseminates the concepts of the entities represented in the data models and keeps data model and metadata repositories up to date.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in IT or a related field + Postgraduate degree or MBA in the area of expertise and/or in development processes;
- Bachelor's degree in any field + Postgraduate studies (in progress or completed) in IT or an area related to the role;
- Experience administering relational databases (SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL or PostgreSQL);
- Knowledge of conceptual, logical and physical data modeling;
- Proficiency in backup, restore and data replication techniques;
- Experience with performance monitoring and tuning;
- Ability to create, review and optimize SQL scripts;
- Knowledge of data security and access control;
- Experience with high-availability environments (clusters, Always On, Data Guard, etc.);
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple simultaneous demands.
