About the role

  • Responsible for sales targets for Automation and Communication Systems and executing sales strategies within the railway sector, managing key accounts, and identifying new business opportunities
  • Achieve sales and growth targets within the assigned markets and accounts, including pipeline development, presales and forecasting
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans tailored to the railway segment
  • Lead cross functional teams/capture teams to present a competitive, differentiated solution and bids to customers
  • Manage and grow relationships with key stakeholders such as railway authorities, OEMs, system integrators, and contractors major accounts to ensure long-term partnerships
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs implement market strategy
  • Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., product development, marketing, engineering) to align offerings with market demand

Requirements

  • Engineering background with at least 5+ years sales experience in B2B Sales preferably within the railway or transportation segment
  • Proven sales record in the systems business in power grid automation
  • Strong understanding of railway systems, infrastructure, and procurement processes
  • Result-oriented, customer focused with strong interpersonal skills
  • Self-driven with strong initiative, team player with ability to manage external and internal stakeholders
  • Willingness to travel and manage relationships across regions
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and leadership
