About the role
- Develop and execute a strategic business plan for your territory.
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities with established and non-established customers.
- Build strong networks internally and externally to uncover leads.
- Evaluate and qualify prospects to convert them into opportunities.
- Maintain accurate sales data and forecasts in Salesforce CRM.
- Coordinate with marketing, proposals, and operations teams throughout the sales cycle.
- Lead RFP, RFI, and budgetary submissions, ensuring customer requirements are met.
- Monitor competitor strategies and position Hitachi Energy for success.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business Management, or related field.
- Minimum 12 years of professional experience in enterprise software sales.
- Proven success in expanding customer base and winning new accounts.
- Strong knowledge of the electric utility sector and IT/OT convergence.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and strategic planning skills.
- Experience with CRM tools and multi-divisional collaboration.
