About the role

  • Execute service work with complexity as per work instructions and in accordance with Hitachi Energy standard processes, quality standards, and safety guidelines
  • Perform field service tasks, identify technical issues, and perform analysis through remote or on-site activity in service categories and products
  • Prepare material lists needed for service activity and ensure that all materials, parts, and equipment are available and of appropriate quality for service activities
  • Troubleshoot equipment/process failures, request proactive corrective actions, and make recommendations to avoid such issues in the future
  • Work with the customer (while on-site) to identify opportunities to improve the customer’s operations and eliminate pain points
  • Ensure compliance to contractual requirements
  • Ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Requirements

  • Technical Education, University Degree or above and major in Engineering with subject of Electrical or Mechanical or other relevant Industrial Engineering fields
  • Less than 5 years of work experience in field service engineering or project engineering
  • Preferring Field Service Work experience
  • Solid experience of technical management of international teams incl. team motivation
  • Willing to travel (more than 50%)
  • No VISA problem for overseas travel
  • Fluent in Korean and business level in English, both oral and written.
