About the role

  • Join Hitachi Energy’s Transformers business and take end‑to‑end ownership of sold customer projects
  • Serve as the customer’s primary contact for all questions on the project (technical, commercial, safety, site activities)
  • Own document flow: design/document reviews with factories, drawing follow‑ups, on‑time customer approvals
  • Drive design and scope changes: raise/manage internal and external change requests, price deltas, and delivery‑time implications
  • Maintain bi‑weekly/monthly schedules; run reviews and follow‑ups internally and with the customer
  • Coordinate documentation (FAT procedures, manuals, reports)
  • Plan and coordinate manage FATs (on‑site and remote)
  • Clarify and coordinate schedule updates.

Requirements

  • M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering
  • Some experience in project management/coordination or adjacent roles
  • Basic understanding of electrical systems; especially high-voltage substations and transformers
  • Background in power plants, electricity distribution, or industrial facilities is considered an advantage
  • Proactive, well-organized, solution-oriented and collaborative
  • Ability to understand customer needs
  • Passion for operative challenges
  • Strong Finnish and English, written and spoken.
