About the role

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets for ETRM solutions
  • Identify market opportunities and create plans to capitalize on them
  • Identify and engage potential clients, understanding their needs and presenting tailored ETRM solutions
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in the energy trading sector
  • Collaborate with technical teams to ensure client requirements are met and solutions are effectively implemented
  • Work closely with marketing and product development teams to align sales strategies with company goals
  • Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities for growth in the ETRM space
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to prospective clients
  • Negotiate contracts and close deals to meet or exceed sales targets
  • Provide feedback to product development teams to enhance ETRM offerings based on client needs and market trends

Requirements

  • 10+ years proven track record in enterprise software sales, preferably in the energy industry
  • Experience with commercial systems such as ETRM and/or strategic business applications such as ERP is a plus
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Familiarity with commercial operations systems for the energy industry and their functionalities, such as deal capture, risk management, and settlement is preferred but not required
