About the role
- Focus on constructively developing and communicating key company positions across government agencies, industry organizations and related stakeholders
- Engage in strategies in support of the company’s global business interests
- Support the company’s government relations communication strategy that focuses on both internal and external communications
- Create a coherent message across platforms
- Sustain a dialogue with government authorities that promotes sound public policies and addresses emerging regulatory, policy and legislative issues
- Play an active and constructive role in the ongoing development of public policies, the high technology community, energy and transportation systems, and society at large
Requirements
- Minimum 5- 7 years of public policy and/or government affairs experience
- Build relationships with governors’ and mayor offices in working with regional representatives
- Maintain relations with state legislature and authorities, county and city governments about business development
- Communication with Managers of Hitachi group companies in prioritized states
- Hosting the Hitachi Day event in Tier 1 state
- Support BU’s to grow businesses
