Systems Engineer

• Installation, configuration and operation of Windows client and server systems
• Maintenance and development of virtualized server environments based on VMware and Microsoft Hyper-V
• Analysis and resolution of hardware and software issues in client and server environments
• Handling 1st- and 2nd-level support requests in our customers' IT environments
• Administration of IT security solutions (including endpoint protection, firewalls, WLAN infrastructure, e-mail security)
• Setup and maintenance of backup and recovery solutions (e.g. Veeam)
• Coordination with customers, vendors and external service providers to implement technical solutions
• Documentation of IT systems, infrastructures and processes
• Development and operation of our managed service platforms for monitoring, patch management and automation
• Maintenance and further development of our internal IT infrastructure
