About the role
- Own inventory management across all SKUs and manufacturing partners
- Track and maintain:
- - Inventory levels
- - Months on hand
- - Shelf life/expiration / batch risk
- - Product specs tied to current inventory
- Build and maintain factory/vendor scorecards, including:
- - COGS competitiveness
- - Payment terms
- - Quality consistency
- - Timeline reliability
- - Communication and partnership health
- Manage and document factory agreements and operational terms
- Identify inventory risks early (aging stock, expiring units, overproduction, slow movers)
- Partner with Ops + Demand Planning to align replenishment decisions
- Improve SOPs for inventory tracking, documentation, and reporting
- Provide leadership-level reporting on inventory health and vendor performance****
Requirements
- 4+ years in Inventory Management, Supply Chain, Operations, or Vendor Management
- Experience in beauty, skincare, cosmetics, or consumer packaged goods
- Proven ability to manage external factory relationships and performance
- Strong understanding of:
- - shelf life management
- - vendor terms
- - inventory health metrics
- - production + replenishment cycles
- Advanced Excel / Google Sheets skills
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and systems-minded
- Experience with international manufacturing partners (Particularly China and Korea)
- Experience building vendor scorecards from scratch
- Familiarity with ERP/inventory platforms (NetSuite, Cin7, TradeGecko, etc.)
