Job Level

About the role

  • Create the infrastructure that empowers others to build—designing the guardrails, documentation, training, and support structures that help team members bridge from idea to implementation
  • Maintain the GROMO AI tool repository with strong organization, version control, and quality standards
  • Design workflows that ensure tools are discoverable, properly onboarded, and embedded into daily operations
  • Track manual-to-automation percentage across GROMO workflows, establish baseline metrics, and provide strategic visibility to leadership
  • Build shared infrastructure and reusable components that reduce time-to-prototype from weeks to days
  • Increase AI tool adoption rates quarter-over-quarter, with a target of 80% of GROMO team members actively using at least one AI tool
  • Conduct workflow audits to identify where AI tools are underutilized and create intervention plans to close adoption gaps
  • Establish baseline metrics for manual-to-automation percentage and track quarterly improvement toward a target of 40% automation coverage
  • Build training programs and enablement materials that progressively develop team capability from foundational AI literacy to hands-on tool building
  • Lead 2-3 high-visibility technical projects per quarter that require collaboration between multiple teams
  • Prototype and validate AI tool concepts quickly to prove value and secure stakeholder buy-in before full-scale implementation

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Operations, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 7-10 years of project management, technical program management, or marketing operations experience, including managing complex, cross-functional initiatives
  • Demonstrated experience building with AI/LLM tools (e.g., Claude Code, VS Code, Cursor, ChatGPT, Glean agents) to solve operational problems or create productivity tooling
  • Track record of enabling others through training, coaching, or technical enablement programs—not just building for others, but teaching them how to build
  • Hands-on experience writing code or building with AI coding assistants (Python, JavaScript, or similar languages preferred)—you should be comfortable prototyping, iterating, and shipping functional tools
  • Experience with Git and GitHub (or GitLab/Bitbucket) for version control, repository organization, and collaboration—comfortable with branching, pull requests, code review workflows, and maintaining organized repo structures with clear documentation and deprecation protocols
  • Track record of maintaining internal tool libraries or repositories—establishing organization standards, documentation practices, and governance that keep assets discoverable and prevent technical debt accumulation
  • Ability to assess technical feasibility and engage with engineering teams as a credible partner, understanding architecture tradeoffs and implementation complexity
  • Strong understanding of modern marketing technology stacks, including marketing automation platforms (Iterable, Braze), CRM systems (Salesforce), and workflow management tools (Asana, Jira, Linear)
  • Proficiency in SQL for data validation, segmentation logic verification, and campaign analysis
  • Familiarity with API integrations, serverless deployment, automation frameworks, and AI agent architectures
  • Proven ability to design and execute enablement programs that drive behavior change and capability building across distributed teams
  • Strong facilitation skills—able to run workshops, hackfests, office hours, and training sessions that make technical concepts accessible
  • Experience with Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid project management methodologies; PMP, CAPM, CSM, or equivalent experience expected
  • Process design expertise—able to map current-state workflows, identify inefficiencies, and architect improved future-state processes
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences and create clear, actionable documentation
  • Demonstrated ability to influence without authority, driving adoption and alignment across distributed teams through coaching and relationship building
  • Experience building communities of practice or centers of excellence that foster knowledge sharing and collective learning.
