About the role
- Coordinate & manage day-to-day purchase orders across Hims’ pharmaceutical partners
- Review & implement monthly forecasts
- Lead recurring calls with suppliers & serve as their main point of contact to review open orders
- Assist with ongoing quality assurance of suppliers, requesting and collecting necessary samples & documentation as needed
- Develop & maintain purchase order management reporting
- Assist in the development of supplier scorecards & manage supplier adherence
- Assist in vendor site visits & business reviews
- Assist in the RFx process for identifying new ingredient suppliers
- Help identify, implement & track cost-reduction strategies
Requirements
- 3+ years of work experience in supply chain, procurement, or a related field
- Experience working with pharmaceutical manufacturers & distributors preferred
- Experience with Netsuite, Google Sheets, Sourceday and other procurement tools preferred
- Experience with supplier relationship management including performance management & negotiating
- High degree of organization and attention to detail
- Experience with data analytics, with the ability to build and analyze basic reports
- Comfortable working in a fluid environment, managing fluctuating priorities
- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence and drive internal & external decisions
- Supply Chain related certifications a plus
- BS/BA degree
- Up to 10% travel
