About the role

  • Assist in the preparation of all financial statements and related disclosures for SEC filings under US GAAP
  • Communicate with accounting, finance, and other departments in order obtain necessary documentation to prepare the financial statements and related disclosures
  • Complete financial statements and reporting requirements for statutory audit procedures required for various locations and other compliance reporting
  • Participate in researching and detailing technical accounting analyses of transactions, accounting policies and implementing new accounting standards
  • Involved in other corporate accounting projects as needed

Requirements

  • BA/BS/Bachelor's Degree in accounting or finance
  • Understanding of US GAAP and Sarbanes-Oxley
  • Ability to communicate clear and concise ideas both verbally and in writing
  • Attention to detail in preparing SEC filings and other financial statements
  • Ability to take initiative to identify, prioritize and implement all elements required for the team to fulfill responsibilities in accordance with core strategic goals
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills; ability to proactively identify and prevent potential problems
  • Ability to analyze financial data in an accurate and timely manner
  • Ability to coordinate between various corporate offices and departments
  • Microsoft office suite knowledge
  • Big 4/CPA firm experience (Preferred, but not required)
  • CPA license (or in process of licensing) (Preferred, but not required)
  • 2 years of related work experience or experience in SEC reporting (Preferred, but not required)
  • Experience with Workiva (or similar tool) (Preferred, but not required)
  • Accounting systems experience (Oracle, FCCS, and FinRep) (Preferred, but not required)
