About the role

  • Provide technical and application-oriented consulting to new and existing customers on technical and technological issues
  • Perform hands-on and application-focused work
  • Provide technological project support from the project inquiry through to commissioning at the customer’s plant
  • Develop and implement customer-specific requirements
  • Conduct project-related and ongoing customer tests
  • Document results and forward them to the relevant stakeholders
  • Support the sales team in selling from a dough-technology and process-technology perspective
  • Deliver internal training on bakery technology topics and sales arguments

Requirements

  • Completed degree in food engineering/food technology or vocational training as a baker, master baker, or food technology specialist
  • Experience in a large bakery or within the food industry
  • Good knowledge of raw materials, products, and processing
  • Good understanding of production workflows, equipment, and process engineering
  • Knowledge of food law and hygiene regulations
  • Awareness of the market environment, competitors, and business/financial contexts
  • Fluent written and spoken English
  • Willingness to travel internationally (approx. 50%)
