About the role
- Maintain Value Stream Map, Lean roadmap, and lean road map action plan for assigned Value Stream;
- Review feasibility studies of manufacturing processes for assigned Value Streams to improve production efficiency and reduce manufacturing labour costs, material and overhead costs;
- Update and maintain plant layout for assigned Value Stream;
- Assist in the day-to-day operations required by the Production Supervisors, manufacturing engineers, Maintenance Supervisor, and Lead Hands as required;
- Review, monitor and report on assigned Value Stream OEE (overall equipment effectiveness) to identify areas of opportunity to task improvements;
Requirements
- Commit to Internship from May 2026 to Aug 2027
- Currently enrolled in Industrial Engineering or Mechanical Engineering undergraduate program (3rd year)
- Superior organization skills essential in working on multiple projects and meeting deadlines
- Motivated self-starter with hands-on work ethic is essential to working with the Value Stream
- A team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in MS office programs (Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint, Visio) & in AutoCAD (plant layouts)
