About the role
- Researches, develops, designs, and tests electrical components, equipment, systems, and networks.
- Designs electrical equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems for commercial, industrial, and domestic purposes.
- Have the ability to design and test electrical components, equipment, systems, and networks.
- Develop digital models of electrical power generators, distribution systems, propulsion and control systems and other electrical system components.
Requirements
- 5 Years with Bachelor of Science degree in related field
- 3 years of relevant professional experience with a Master's Degree
- 0 years with a PhD from an accredited ABET school
- Experience with modeling of electrical power generation, distribution, propulsion and control systems using MATLAB and/or Simulink
- Experience with hardware-in-the loop is a plus.
- Comfortable working in the area of Research and Development (R&D)
