About the role
- train as an Environmental Health and Safety Professional within Ingalls Shipbuilding
- report to a designated HII Supervisor
- learn Environmental Health and Safety basics and principles
- assigned special projects as needed
- use predetermined methods, operations, setups and prescribed specifications
- support the Environmental Health & Safety department in Occupational Health and Safety, Compliance and Documentation, Communication and Collaboration and Technical and Analytical assessments
- develop understanding of inspection and regulatory processes
Requirements
- Must be transitioning active duty military personnel within their final 12 months of active-duty service
