About the role
- Build and maintain driver-based financial models connecting business drivers to financial outcomes.
- Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual planning cycles, including board-level reporting.
- Support sales forecasting, cohort analysis, and commission planning to align performance and incentives.
- Ensure accuracy across systems and datasets to support data auditing and executive reporting.
- Identify trends and deliver insights across core SaaS metrics (ARR, CAC, LTV, churn).
- Partner with cross-functional teams (Sales, Marketing, Product) to deliver financial insights that drive strategic initiatives.
- Develop scalable dashboards using tools like Power BI or Metabase.
- Contribute to automation and predictive analytics initiatives to improve reporting efficiency.
- Drive scenario modeling to support strategic decision-making.
Requirements
- 5+ years of FP&A experience, ideally within SaaS or subscription-based businesses.
- Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets with strong financial modeling skills (e.g. powerpivot).
- Hands-on experience with CRMs (Salesforce or similar) and ERPs (NetSuite or similar).
- Experience working with large datasets and extracting insights through Power BI, Metabase, SQL, or Python.
- Comfort with financial statements and ability to audit data across systems.
- Self-starter mindset with attention to detail and a bias for action.
- Authorization to work in the US or Canada.
- (Great-to-have) Experience with statistical analysis and modeling for SaaS.
- (Great-to-have) Exposure to Solution 7, Hyperion, or enterprise-level financial systems.
- (Great-to-have) Experience working with distributed teams in remote environments.
- (Great-to-have) Understanding of SaaS payment structures.
