About the role
- Own end-to-end execution of US benefits administration, including vendor coordination, annual renewals, open enrollment, compliance activities, audits, and documentation.
- Partner with brokers, Finance, Payroll, and Legal to ensure benefits programs are administered accurately and compliantly.
- Act as an SME for Benefits and R&R programs across the industry, advising People leadership on market trends, regulatory changes, and design improvement.
- Manage and maintain rewards and recognition programs, including program administration, communications, and ongoing enhancements.
- Gather employee feedback and participation data to support continuous improvement of benefits and recognition offerings.
- Coordinate well-being and employee support initiatives to ensure alignment across programs.
- Contribute to benefits planning and renewals, including recommendation of vendor changes, plan design shifts, and long-term cost optimization initiatives.
- Own vendor evaluation and performance management, including broker selection, contract negotiations (with guidance), and service-level accountability.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in people programs, benefits design and administration, HR operations, or related roles.
- Strong hands-on experience administering US benefits programs, including vendor coordination and compliance support.
- Demonstrated ability to manage projects or programs with multiple stakeholders and dependencies.
- Experience supporting rewards and recognition programs is strongly preferred.
- Comfort operating in environments with changing priorities and evolving scope.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage both steady-state work and project-based initiatives.
- Clear communicator who can explain programs, processes, and next steps to a variety of audiences.
- Ability to work independently within defined direction and escalate appropriately when decisions are needed.
- Experience working in remote-first or distributed environments.
