About the role
- Manage a team of 6-10 engineers responsible for the full Reporting & Analytics platform.
- Redesign core reporting pipelines to be modular, fault-tolerant, and horizontally scalable.
- Balance rapid iteration with quality standards for mission-critical analytics.
- Guide technical architecture and make high-impact engineering decisions.
- Collaborate with Product and Design teams to own technical outcomes.
- Drive technical direction across product features and platform layers.
Requirements
- 8+ years in software engineering, with at least 2 years leading teams building large-scale, high-availability backend or data systems.
- Experience scaling distributed data pipelines or analytics platforms handling high-volume datasets.
- Strong understanding of event-driven systems, performance optimization, and distributed architecture.
- Demonstrated success leading teams in fast-paced, product-driven environments.
- Experience with modern front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Vue, Angular) and building full-stack web applications.
- Proven track record of architecting complex systems and delivering scalable, high-performance web apps in production.
- Strong understanding of software design patterns, API design, and microservices architecture in a multi-tenant environment.
- Skilled in guiding technical architecture, making high-impact engineering decisions, and mentoring fellow engineers.
- Experience with code quality practices, automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and dev tooling optimization.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with clear and collaborative communication across cross-functional teams.
