About the role

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure all parties are informed of project status.
  • Conduct regular site visits, deliver project updates, and ensure deadlines are met by updating project management software to maintain accurate timelines and expectations.
  • Coordinate project progress, monitor deliverables, track timelines, and adapt workflows as needed.
  • Participate in vendor procurement processes.
  • Develop and implement risk mitigation plans.
  • Continuously optimize and improve processes and overall project approaches where necessary.
  • Oversee all incoming and outgoing project documentation, including receiving, storing, and reviewing files from external stakeholders (architects, engineers, etc.), ensuring compliance with Canna Cabana guidelines.
  • Participate in tendering processes and vendor selection; provide comprehensive summaries of vendor pricing, scope inclusions, and exclusions.
  • Conducting meetings with general contractors to assess site status and relay information promptly and accurately.
  • Provide feedback on preliminary layouts to evaluate optimal space utilization in line with company design standards.
  • Maintain a holistic view of projects, anticipating upcoming tasks and organizing them proactively.
  • Conduct project reviews and prepare detailed reports for executive staff.
  • Schedule meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Research cost-effective solutions for tasks on a location-specific basis.
  • Possess knowledge of development permits, building permits, and sign permit application processes, as well as provincial building codes and barrier-free accessibility guidelines.
  • Travel to various store locations/sites as required based on business needs.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.
