About the role
- Design, develop, and implement new modules and features within a new React Native application in the making.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to translate business requirements into high-quality technical solutions.
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application.
- Maintain and improve existing codebases, focusing on code quality, testability, and maintainability.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues, ensuring a smooth user experience.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in the Expo and React Native ecosystems.
Requirements
- 3+ years of professional experience in React Native development.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and the React framework fundamentals.
- Proven experience developing and shipping complex mobile applications.
- Experience utilizing techniques for scalable clean-architecture applications like domain-driven design, unit testing, and strict linting, and tools like TanStack Query, Zustand, and Stryker.
- Solid understanding of mobile application lifecycle, security, and performance optimization techniques.
- Nice to have Experience with other mobile development platforms and technologies, such as: iOS Native (Swift/Objective-C) Android Native (Kotlin/Java) Web Technologies Prior experience working on applications in the financial services sector
