About the role
- Assist the Director of Nursing (DON) in directing the activities of licensed and non-licensed personnel.
- Aid in maintaining operations of the Nursing Service Department.
- Ensure high-quality client care in accordance with regulations and policies.
- Scheduling COVID testing and vaccinations;
- Maintain medical records and assist with requests.
- Maintain medical supplies and stock medications monthly.
- Maintain and adjust nursing schedule; assist with client schedules.
- Monitor client infection control and administer immunizations.
- Provide on-call coverage and assist with lab ordering and critical reporting.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school for professional nurses and licensed in good standing in the state where work will be performed.
- Valid RN or LPN license
- At least one year of supervision experience in the nursing field.
- Satisfactory OIG exclusions and background check.
- Satisfactory personal & professional references.
- Possess & maintain current CPR certification or acquire CPR certification within 90 days of date of hire.
