About the role

  • Oversees multiple aspects and activities of the Project Management Organization.
  • Manages the overall project portfolio for Holly Energy Partners.
  • Accountable for completion of projects within approved budget and target schedule.
  • Ensures plans, specifications, schedules, budgets, and contractual commitments are met.
  • Directs the engineering (Civil, I&E, drafting, mechanical, etc…) and project management & execution activities for our pipeline and facilities.
  • Ensures compliance with our Project Management Organizations policies, standards, and procedures and reviews and updates accordingly.
  • Provides project engineering support and directs engineering studies associated with Business Development scoping activities, large scale projects, and/or improvement opportunities.
  • Represents the company and establishes strong professional relationships with key decision makers and counterparts.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 10 years of on-the-job experience is required.
  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in a technical or Engineering related field, is required.
  • Significant experience in Project and Construction Management & Execution will be considered.
  • Advanced ability to lead and direct the work of other associates.
  • Advanced spreadsheet, CAD, database and word processing applications knowledge;
  • Strong interpersonal, time-management and organizational skills;
  • Ability to develop quality controls and read and assess statistical and operational reports.
  • Advanced reading and writing skills;
  • Ability to perform advanced mathematical calculations.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with others, both written and verbal communication.
