About the role
- The MEC&R Manager provides leadership and assures management systems for reliability.
- Responsible for directing the technical assurance programs and delivery of technical expertise in support of the refinery operations, maintenance, projects and turnaround activities.
- Support an engaged team, work with extended leadership team personnel to deliver site performance.
- Responsible for site strategy & tactics for reliability and availability performance.
- Develop yearly improvement plans to continue deliver the work process objectives.
- Accountable for the development of engineering design and generating Bills of Materials in machinery, electrical and civil disciplines.
Requirements
- A minimum of 10 years of on-the-job experience is required.
- Related refining experience is preferred.
- Advanced ability to lead & engage teams, influence without formal authority, and work in teams.
- Skills in multidiscipline problem solving, strategic & tactical mindset, learner mindset, change management, innovation, and assurance.
- A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree, preferably in a science or engineering related field, is required.
