About the role

  • This is a rare chance for an ambitious highly motivated new graduate to join an industrial research Lab: The Security Lab in HPE Labs.
  • We offer you a unique opportunity to build a career constantly learning new technologies and exploring your innovative ideas.
  • You’ll be collaborating with HPE colleagues around the world and with our external collaborators on various open-source projects.
  • The Security Lab researches and develops foundational security capabilities for HPE products and services in collaboration with our business units, supply chain, partners and the open-source community.
  • Our current projects include confidential computing, post-quantum cryptography, security of AI and applications of AI to security.

Requirements

  • Recent bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or related discipline
  • Strong implementation skills with experience in one or more of the following: Python, Rust, C, Go
  • Good knowledge of computer architecture, operating systems and networking
  • Knowledge of system security techniques and principles
  • Good written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • You like collaborating, enjoy working in a team and are a strong team player, and can also work independently.
