About the role

  • This is a rare chance for an ambitious highly motivated new graduate to join an industrial research Lab: The Security Lab in HPE Labs
  • You'll be collaborating with HPE colleagues around the world and with our external collaborators on various open-source projects
  • The Security Lab researches and develops foundational security capabilities for HPE products and services in collaboration with our business units, supply chain, partners and the open-source community
  • Our current projects include confidential computing, post-quantum cryptography, security of AI and applications of AI to security

Requirements

  • A completed Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in 2025, or expected to graduate in 2026 with focus on Computer Science or related discipline
  • Strong implementation skills with experience in one or more of the following programming languages: Python, Rust, C, or Go
  • Good understanding of computer architecture, operating systems, and networking
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with professional proficiency in English
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Enjoy collaborating with others and can also work independently when needed
  • Knowledge of system security principles and techniques
