About the role

  • Lead Americas Region Country HR function to drive HR programs and bring HPE people strategy to life.
  • Provide regional HR solutions, ensure lawful and compliant operation across Americas countries.
  • Partner with COEs and HR Business Leaders to design and implement localized HR programs and processes.
  • Manage and optimize regional HR budget; maximize alignment and effectiveness of People Care Ecosystem.
  • Deliver implementation of global HR programs specialized for regional requirements; support talent acquisition and MADO.
  • Act as consultant for organizational design, transformation, change management, talent management and labor relations.
  • Interface with managers, employees, government agencies; provide legal and labor law guidance and documentation for legal actions.
  • Lead and manage a large HR generalist function and a team of managers and senior contributors.

Requirements

  • First-level university degree; advanced university degree in business preferred.
  • Typically 12+ years in human resources, with significant strategic experience including senior management influence.
  • Strong knowledge of HR processes, operations and system solutions.
  • Experience managing rollouts of HR initiatives (performance management, recruiting, benefits, policies).
  • Strong project management and prioritization skills.
  • Strong leadership and staff development skills; ability to build partnerships across functions.
  • Strong communication skills (written, oral and presentation).
  • Ability to manage complex administrative processes and a medium budget; strong consulting skills.
  • Experience with organizational design, transformation, change management, talent management, total rewards, workforce planning, and labor relations.
