About the role
- Hunter sales position focused on acquiring new business and driving revenue growth.
- Prospecting, building relationships, and closing deals with a strong emphasis on outbound sales and pipeline building.
- Owns overall account responsibility for pipeline and forecasting; executes against growth and profitability goals across HPE's portfolio.
- Positions strategic solutions, builds strong customer relationships, and engages executive-level stakeholders.
- Develops and engages with the extended partner ecosystem; orchestrates deal teams and acts as customer advocate inside HPE.
- Plans for accounts to deliver results through the financial year and beyond; constantly develops IT industry knowledge.
Requirements
- This role has been designated as ‘Remote/Teleworker’, which means you will primarily work from home.
- Preference is for the candidate to be in the Bay Area, but may be open to qualified candidates located in the US.
- Due to the responsibilities of the role, the candidate must be US citizen.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
- Typically, 6-10+ years of account management experience in the IT industry.
- Understanding and experience selling HPE AI products and solutions.
- 2+ years of hunting net new logos.
- Proven ability to deliver on sales objectives and close complex deals; successful track record delivering against revenue goals and quota attainment.
- Comfortable and experienced with engagement and cultivating executive (C-Level) relationships.
- Applies knowledge of the AI market landscape and experience selling HPE HPC/AI solutions.
- Must comply with applicable COVID-19 vaccination policy where required by law.
