About the role

  • Own and drive all revenue-generating activities for the OSMOSIS Association, including: Sponsorship and exhibit sales for conferences and webinars, Corporate and institutional partnerships for training and certification, Membership and community support packages
  • Develop and manage sales pipelines aligned with annual revenue targets
  • Forecast revenue performance and report progress against defined goals
  • Conduct outbound outreach via email, phone, and digital platforms to acquire new sponsors, partners, and institutional customers
  • Manage negotiations, close contracts, and ensure timely execution of revenue agreements
  • Coordinate handoff for fulfillment with internal Operations and Marketing teams
  • Collaborate with the Marketing team to develop campaigns, messaging, and sales collateral
  • Conduct market research and provide customer and partner feedback to leadership
  • Identify and pursue new revenue opportunities aligned with the Association’s mission and growth strategy
  • Maintain CRM and sales pipeline data with accuracy and consistency
  • Provide weekly revenue and activity reports, including pipeline status and conversion metrics
  • Deliver post-campaign and end-of-contract performance summaries, including outcomes, leads, and recommendations
  • Participate in regular virtual meetings with a distributed team
  • Represent OSMOSIS professionally with sponsors, partners, and institutional stakeholders

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field
  • 5+ years’ experience in sales for private investigations, library sciences, government/business intelligence, or cyber investigations verticals
  • Knowledge of event sales, certification programs, or investigative solution providers
  • Familiarity with open-source ecosystems and private investigation practices
  • Strong organizational skills and experience working with cross-functional teams
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience working with CRMs, online sales, invoice management, and budget tracking
