Backend Engineer

• Participate in the full software development lifecycle of our service
• Develop an innovative, scalable, high-quality system within a cross-functional team
• Write clean, simple, and well-tested code following TDD
• Contribute ideas for new features and identify areas for improvement
• Contribute to continuous integration and continuous delivery of systems and infrastructure
• Provide rotational on-call support to the product and root cause analysis of software and system defects
• Direct code and technical contributions, not delegating all hands-on work

Lead Java/Scala Software Engineer

Sales

• Act as the primary technical advisor for partners in Mexico and South America, leading technical discovery and understanding partner needs.
• Deliver presentations, workshops, and demos in Spanish to technical and executive audiences, supporting partner go-to-market initiatives.
• Design solution architectures using location APIs, SDKs, datasets, and cloud services, providing recommendations for spatial workflows and integrations.
• Support partners in evaluating datasets, building PoCs, and validating geospatial use cases to ensure successful solution delivery.
• Own partner technical onboarding, training, and readiness, creating enablement content and reference architectures.
• Coordinate with Product, Engineering, and Sales teams to align partner solutions with HERE’s capabilities and roadmap.
• Identify and mitigate technical risks during partner integration cycles, ensuring smooth delivery and long-term success.
