About the role

  • Independently and proactively handle claims in the area of pet insurance
  • Respond to customer inquiries and act as the interface to our service provider
  • Review claim notifications for plausibility, completeness, and insurance-relevant criteria
  • Manage correspondence and coordinate with veterinarians and animal clinics
  • Negotiate and settle cases purposefully, taking economic considerations into account

Requirements

  • Completed vocational training or a degree in a veterinary, commercial, or insurance-related field
  • Several years of experience in a veterinary environment or in handling insurance claims
  • Able to work independently, in a structured manner, and responsibly
  • Strong service and customer orientation
  • Confident communication with a variety of stakeholders
  • Team player who actively contributes ideas and improvements
  • Fluent German language skills, both spoken and written
