About the role
- Provide technical and functional solution discovery and demonstrations to prospective and existing customers to support new sales, retention, and expansion
- Create and deliver Henry Schein One presentations and product demonstrations reflecting solution value and customer outcomes
- Primary focus on customers in the 1 to 8 Private Practice segments
- Design, validate, and present HS1 software solutions including advanced product concepts, future direction, and 3rd party complementary products
- Present and articulate HS1 product strengths relative to competitors
- Partner with marketing to create content including videos, webinars and presentations
- Spend up to 80% of time performing technical presentations for customers, partners, and prospects
- Provide consultative technical and sales support for Dentrix Ascend (RCM and Clinical Solutions such as Detect AI, Voice, and Imaging)
- Participate in sales planning, business development, and solution architecture
- Collaborate with Account Management, Customer Success, Services, Product Management, Marketing and Engineering
- Assist or own RFP/RFI responses and advise on implementation of purchased solutions
- May attend trade shows and industry events; travel typically less than 10%
Requirements
- Typically 5 or more years of increasing responsibility in terms of dental practice experience
- Minimum of 5 years of prior Pre-Sales, Technical/Systems Engineering, relevant Dental industry experience or Solution Architect experience with software in a SaaS/HaaS Cloud environment
- Typically a Bachelor's Degree or global equivalent in related discipline
- Ability to see and present 'the big picture', architect solutions to solve customer problems, and uncover business challenges and develop custom solutions
- Strong customer facing and relationship building skills
- Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills; needs analysis, positioning, business justification, and closing techniques
- Demonstrates a high level of proficiency with customers in the 1 to 8 Private Practice segments, with a deep understanding of the problems facing the solo practice
- Strong degree of understanding with competitive products
- Strong understanding of the dental industry
- High proficiency with tools, systems, and procedures
- Good planning/organizational skills and techniques
