About the role
- Deliver accurate financial reporting in line with US GAAP and local statutory requirements.
- Play a key role in monthly/quarterly close and prepare statutory financial statements.
- Coordinate internal and external audits.
- Ensure tax compliance across CIT, VAT, WHT, Transfer Pricing, and MDR.
- Oversee selected regulatory reporting (e.g., GUS, NBP, INTRASTAT) and customer rebates.
- Drive process improvements and support finance projects in cooperation with SSC and cross-functional teams.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in a similar accounting role in an international environment.
- Strong knowledge of Polish tax and reporting requirements (CIT, VAT, WHT, TP, MDR).
- Fluency in Polish and English.
- Proven experience in preparing financial statements and supporting audits.
- Degree in Accounting/Finance (ACCA/CPA/CIMA is a plus).
- Good understanding of US GAAP and internal controls.
- ERP experience (preferably SAP S/4HANA) and advanced Excel skills.
