About the role

  • Comprehensive legal advice to the executive management and employees
  • Drafting, reviewing and negotiating all company contracts in German, English and French (including collaboration, non-disclosure, service and data processing agreements)
  • Handling matters in the areas of medical law, competition law, corporate law, data protection, social security law and general civil law
  • Communication with health insurers, authorities and external counsel
  • Association work within Spitzenverband Digitale Gesundheitsversorgung e.V.
  • Contributing to the preparation of the quarterly compliance newsletter for the Leadership Team, including monitoring legal developments in relevant areas
  • Case manager for the internal reporting office under the Whistleblower Protection Act (HinSchG)

Requirements

  • Qualified lawyer (Second State Examination) with at least: 2–3 years of professional experience (Mid-level) or 4+ years of professional experience (Senior-level)
  • Demonstrable experience in health law (e.g., DiGA [digital health applications], medical devices and/or SGB V [German Social Code, Book V])
  • Practical experience in contract drafting and negotiation (especially B2B and cooperation agreements)
  • Technical affinity (including AI applications in the legal field)
  • Business-level proficiency in German and English; fluent in French
  • Independent, structured and meticulous work style with a high degree of personal responsibility
  • Pragmatic, solution-oriented approach (startup mentality)
