About the role

  • Assume commercial responsibility for strategically relevant RFQs with a focus on margin and profitability management.
  • Conduct complex price and contract negotiations outside of standardized frameworks.
  • Analyze recurring operational issues and develop structural solutions to improve performance.
  • Manage commercially critical situations during supply-chain instability or logistical challenges.
  • Assess customer-policy changes for their impact on profitability and pricing structures.
  • Align cross-functional measures and define clear commercial courses of action.
  • Act as a strategic interface between Sales, Purchasing, Logistics, and Management.
  • Initiate margin-oriented optimizations and challenge existing pricing models.

Requirements

  • At least five years of solid B2B sales experience, ideally in strategic account management.
  • Proven experience in complex sales environments with significant financial responsibility.
  • Confident analysis of pricing structures and understanding of margin mechanics.
  • Experienced negotiator at senior and management levels with a focus on sustainable profitability.
  • Ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders without direct line-management authority.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with proactive decision-making and ownership.
  • Technical aptitude and ability to quickly get up to speed on technical, complex products (PCB knowledge advantageous).
  • Negotiation-level German (minimum C1) and fluent English (minimum B2).
