About the role
- Assume commercial responsibility for strategically relevant RFQs with a focus on margin and profitability management.
- Conduct complex price and contract negotiations outside of standardized frameworks.
- Analyze recurring operational issues and develop structural solutions to improve performance.
- Manage commercially critical situations during supply-chain instability or logistical challenges.
- Assess customer-policy changes for their impact on profitability and pricing structures.
- Align cross-functional measures and define clear commercial courses of action.
- Act as a strategic interface between Sales, Purchasing, Logistics, and Management.
- Initiate margin-oriented optimizations and challenge existing pricing models.
Requirements
- At least five years of solid B2B sales experience, ideally in strategic account management.
- Proven experience in complex sales environments with significant financial responsibility.
- Confident analysis of pricing structures and understanding of margin mechanics.
- Experienced negotiator at senior and management levels with a focus on sustainable profitability.
- Ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders without direct line-management authority.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with proactive decision-making and ownership.
- Technical aptitude and ability to quickly get up to speed on technical, complex products (PCB knowledge advantageous).
- Negotiation-level German (minimum C1) and fluent English (minimum B2).
